Dentacoin

Dentacoin is the first Blockchain concept designed for the Global Dental Industry. The Dentacoin ERC20 token is configured to be used globally by all individuals. Dentacoin aims at improving dental care worldwide and making it affordable through crowd power. As part of their agenda, Dentacoin’s team runs numerous Blockchain-based tools – both web based and mobile apps.

The Trusted Review Platform is one of those tools. It’s a review platform where patients can share and read reviews about dentists worldwide. Contributing to the platform is rewarded with Dentacoin rewards which can be used for discounts in selected partner clinics or for buying dental equipment.

The platform was developed on Laravel framework with Bootstrap visual components. ETH token transactions were implemented via geth, nodeJS and MetaMask (Web3.js). Some of the platform’s features are:

• Two user types – dentists and patients
• Various anti-SCAM countermeasures
• Invitation / affiliate system for rewarding users who actively promote the platform
• Various data confirmation methods such as Google Business API integration for dental practices and SMS verificaiton for patients
• Integrated server app for ETH token transactions with reporting and network congestion issues hadling
• Full featured CMS for managing users, transactions, translations and emails
• Website widget generator – allows dentists to create a “My reviews” widget that can be easily integrated in their website
